General Info
The Alchemist is an alternate-universe version of Ruti that, rather than growing up isolated in Skygrid, was raised in a magic-centric culture and actually learned how to control its powers. Despite all other members of that culture being long dead, it still sticks to certain aspects of it. For example, in magical society, referring to someone by their true name - or indeed, any name at all - is taboo, as knowing someone's name gives you power over them. As such, most individuals refer to each other by titles - either their relationship to the speaker (friend, brother, etc.), their occupation (Historian, Magician, etc.), or some other notable feature (Endling, Outsider, etc.).
The Alchemist, as its name would suggest, is an incredibly skilled potionmaker. It specializes in debuffing effects (nausea, blindness, etc.), though it has a good grasp on almost every kind of potion there is. Theoretically, it can shapeshift itself however it likes, but in practice, it only really uses that ability to shift between a floaty ghost-like tail and its regular digitigrade legs and tail. While stressed, its form deteriorates somewhat, causing the appearance of "melting."
It has a generally easygoing demeanor, preferring to let big world-changing events come to it rather than starting them itself. It's incredibly hard to get a read on its emotions; if people are mean to it, telling if it doesn't care or genuinely doesn't notice is nigh impossible. Regardless, it presents itself as a carefree jokester type. Despite itself, it often finds itself falling quickly and deeply into love, often with mortals that don't stick around nearly as long as it would like.

Empires SMP Season 1
Ran the Coral Kingdom. Glass domes underwater in a warm ocean biome, surrounded by a coral reef. The era's largest repository of historical documents. Unfortunately, the explosion at the end of the season broke many of the glass domes, leaving almost the entire collection unsalvageable. Briefly convinced to join the side of evil by Xornoth, though whether this was through mind control or it merely cooperated for the hell of it is hard to say. Possibly, it was some mix of both.
Vampires SMP
Spent a while sulking in a cave in the woods as a hermit. Known sparsely as the Oakhurst Chimera.
Empires SMP Season 2
Hid away in the Deep Dark for a while. Uncovered, alongside an Ancient City, by The Historian (Pixlriffs). Becomes gradually more infected by sculk as the season continues, eventually has to be cured by being killed and resurrected. Shared casual trysts with Pixlriffs that were cut unfortunately short when he died. Unfortunately, the sheer quantities of magical energies contained within it act as a sort of corrosive influence to ghosts and other spectral creatures, so the two had to stay a good distance apart lest its magical charge tears his incorporeal form apart.
WitchCraft SMP
Joins the competition not for any rewards, but moreso to kill time and hang out with his friend The Fog Witch (Shubble). Has no vested interest in trying to win or even really putting in that much effort.
Minecraft Misadventures SMP
im gonna be so for real i dont remember if this is canon or not anymore. if it is then it lives in the slime dungeon. one with the toxic slutch
QSMP
i havent watched qsmp since we learned quackity wasnt paying people so my memory is fuzzyyyyy sorry <3 anyway alchemist was friends with badboyhalo and helped take care of dapper sometimes. after the eggs went missing and the federation started giving out the risus potions to select members, its hedonistic tendencies got kicked up to 11 and its usual restrictiveness with sticking to its unique cultural norms loosened a heretofore unthinkable amount.
Unstable Universe
trying its best to stay out of things. one of the only people alive who knows how to make heavy cores, so the invisible mafia put a pricey target on its head. unfortunately for anyone who went after that bounty, the alchemist knows how to brew impossibly potent harming potions, enough for one splash potion to kill someone if aimed well. doesn't get out much, but is fond of wemmbu, who is the closest thing alchemist has ever seen to its own species.
100 Days in a Desert Apocalypse
the world has been in rough shape for some time. alchemist isn't sure if the world's going to be able to bounce back from it, this time. while hunting for resources, it stumbled upon Legundo, nearly dead of heat stroke. Having not seen another sentient being in hundreds of years, it took him back to its underground base, the last known bastion of recorded history.

Empires SMP Season 1
unrequited crush on fwhip. absolute besties with mythicalsausage. allied with xornoth when he shows up, as it's very susceptible to mind control. allied with pixlriffs of pixandria, as well as part of the wither rose alliance (fwhip, geminitay, mythicalsausage). weirdly protective over jimmy solidarity (his sopping wet and miserable aura has bewitched it). enemies with joel smallishbeans (it's seen what he did to those horses.) and lizzie (this ocean doesnt have enough room for two aquatic empires...)
Vampires SMP
doesn't interact with the cast much. curious about legundo. wants to keep avid as a pet and turn him into a freaky chimera using magic
Empires SMP Season 2
casually dating pixlriffs. visceral discomfort with mythicalsausage's sorta-hivemind situation; too similar to s1 sausage. not similar enough. he doesnt quite remember it, but he recognizes it. it's uncanny. quite good friends with shubble. gets along well with scott of chromia (alchemist supports gay rights and especially gay wrongs) and lizzie of animalia (theyre greatures :3 together). enemies with jimmy "the sheriff" solidarity (not a fan of the law.) and katherine (she did nothing wrong but her cursed aura activates its fight-or-flight).

slightly more okay with sausage. still doesnt trust him.
QSMP
wants to kiss badboyhalo (someone to share eternity with, perhaps...? well, he already has skeppy. alas). effectively asked to marry forever (even gave out its name) while they were both high out of their minds. upon regaining sense it immediately regretted this decision so so bad
Unstable Universe
Fond of Wemmbu, somewhat protective over him. Enamored with Zam, but Zam doesn't trust it as far as she can throw it. Wants ashswagg dead
